Just gotta express appreciation for this exercise of yours! It took me back, and got me to reflect on the experience of 20 years passing... It was my college spring break that I flew out to Billings and saw 6 shows in 7 nights, such unforgettable and formative experiences, hard to believe from this same lifetime but so grateful that it is. I didn't have recordings of most of these, so thank you so much! The live experience from about '99-'03 is ingrained deeply in my musical DNA at this point, and I only occasionally need to go back to the well for replenishment. Now I can in a much more comprehensive way. Also, reading your valuations makes me feel seen for being on the right track back then, knowing that something special was happening and that being present for it was worth the sacrifice.
