Chris, I remember you from when we were in the Carmel High School band under Dan Mooney. We met once again in Woodstock. It was the weekend The Band was recording Stage Fright.
I met Chris while attending a NYC recording session for jazz vocal legend Mark Murphy during the time of Chris' Dylan tours. Chris was on drums. I was a Dylan fan AND a jazz fan, and Chris enjoyed that. I knew he had been with Dylan. His conversation all those years ago, about his Dylan experience, was very much like this interview. Chris was an extremely nice fellow. He did well on the Mark Murphy session too.
I met the girl who called herself Sara Dylan at the first show in Dublin 1989,she even had i.d with the name on it,don’t remember her throwing coins,but when Dylan came on she whipped out a harmonica and started playing it,she then started crying uncontrollably,then was pulled from the crowd,read about 5 years ago about a woman who was found murdered with the same name,article said she was a huge Dylan fan.
